Brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, members of the critically acclaimed band Dawes, poured their hearts into a poignant performance of their song ‘Time Spent In Los Angeles’ on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this week.
The emotional rendition came just days after their homes were ravaged by wildfires.
Taylor's home studio was completely destroyed, and his house—shared with his wife, actress and singer Mandy Moore—sustained significant damage.
Meanwhile, Griffin Goldsmith, who is preparing to welcome his first child, faced the heartbreaking reality of losing his entire home to the flames.
Despite their personal devastation, the Goldsmiths found strength in their music. Their performance was accompanied by stirring visuals of first responders heroically battling the wildfires and poignant images of residents who had lost everything.
The wildfires, which swept through parts of California, have left countless families displaced and grieving.
